Advanced System Configuration Overview

Use the Advanced System Configuration topics in this section when your system requires configuration beyond the basic Software Quick Start workflow.

These topics cover system-level settings for supported cameras, network interfaces, drivers, and multi-server workflows. They are intended for users who have already installed the required software and verified basic camera operation.

General assumptions

Before you use these topics, make sure that you have:

• Installed the required Emergent software.
• Connected the camera, NIC, and host system.
• Verified image acquisition in eCapture Pro or with an eSDK Pro example.
• Confirmed that your hardware supports the feature you want to configure.

Some procedures require administrator privileges on Windows or root privileges on Linux.
