eCapture Pro includes a logging system that helps you monitor application activity, diagnose issues, and track system health. This topic explains how to view and filter logs, configure warning and error thresholds, clear logs after issues are resolved, and locate log files on both Windows and Linux systems.
The Log Panel, located on the right side of the System View, displays log entries. Controls at the top of the panel let you configure the logs.

You can filter log entries based on the log level. To view a detailed log of the application’s activity you can set the log level to debug. This includes error, warning, info, and debug entries.
In the Log Panel, use the Log Level slider to filter entries by type and severity. The log levels are:
To view detailed application activity, set the log level to Debug. After reviewing, set it back to Warning to reduce clutter.
The Log Panel flags several kinds of Important system issues as either warnings or errors, depending on their severity and the thresholds you configure. Errors are more severe than warnings.

After resolving all warnings and errors, you can clear the log. This action also resets the error and warning counters.
