After you install the hardware, run the eCapture Pro installer to install eCapture Pro, eSDK Pro, and classic eSDK. Then verify the installation in eCapture Pro or eSDK Pro. Use eSDK Pro for new development.
Note: This topic describes the installation flow for version 1.5.0 of eCapture Pro, including bundled eSDK Pro and classic eSDK components. For legacy workflows that require a separate classic eSDK installation, see Overview of eCapture Pro and the Classic eSDK.
System integrators and developers who want to install the Emergent software for this Quick Start and then verify it in eCapture Pro or eSDK Pro.

Follow the installation steps for your operating system.
The eCapture Pro installer installs eCapture Pro, eSDK Pro, and classic eSDK in a single installation flow.
Note: On the installer’s Select Components page, select at least one classic eSDK NIC driver.

eCaptureProInstaller_1_5_0_Windows.exe).Important: Do not run the installer with sudo../eCaptureProInstaller_1_5_0_Ubuntu_22_04.run).If classic eSDK is already installed, the installer will show an eSDK Version Conflict dialog. The recommended action is to cancel the installation, uninstall the existing classic eSDK installation, and then rerun the eCapture Pro installer. If you continue instead, the installer uses the existing classic eSDK installation and does not replace it.
To uninstall classic eSDK:
uninstall_eSdk.sh script from the eSDK install ZIP.Verify that the installation works by completing one or both of these tasks:
