The eCapture Pro Global Toolbar

The Global Toolbar in eCapture Pro is a persistent interface located at the top-left corner of all views. It centralizes key controls, allowing users to manage system settings, hardware configurations, and application information with ease. Its design enhances workflow efficiency by providing consistent access to these essential tools across all views.

Purpose of the Global Toolbar

The Global Toolbar helps users:

• Access System Information: Quickly view the version and license details of the eCapture Pro instance for troubleshooting or reference.
• Manage Hardware Configurations: Save the current hardware setup and export or import system configuration files for seamless system management.
• Optimize System Operations: Configure critical settings like frame offset and Precision Time Protocol (PTP) to ensure synchronized camera operation and optimal performance.
• Streamline Workflow: Consolidate frequently used tools in a single location, reducing interruptions and improving overall productivity.

User Interface of the Global Toolbar

The Global Toolbar includes the following buttons (from left to right):

• Information Button (i): Displays the version and license details of the eCapture Pro instance, aiding in reference and troubleshooting.
• Save Button (Floppy Disk Icon): Saves the current hardware configuration within eCapture Pro, ensuring the setup is preserved for future sessions.
• System Configuration Button (Folder Icon): Enables exporting and importing system configuration files to facilitate system migration or backup.
• Settings Button (Gear Icon): Opens a menu for configuring frame offset and PTP settings, ensuring precise camera synchronization and system performance.
