PTP Debug

In Emergent Vision cameras using PTP triggering, the PTP Debug feature auto-gates a 2-second start, streamlining Precision Time Protocol tests without manual clock calculations.

When enabled, the camera sets a 2 s gate after each AcquisitionStart and begins streaming when its PTP clock reaches that point—ideal for quick checks in eCapture or third-party software.

Typical use case:

1. Enable PTP Debug.
2. Send AcquisitionStart.
3. Two seconds later, the camera starts streaming in PTP-synchronized mode.

Note: Disable this feature for normal operation when your application supplies its own gate times.
