Device Information Features and Nodes

Device information features in high-speed cameras from Emergent Vision Technologies facilitate identification, firmware management, and system integration within machine vision systems. They enable precise camera tracking and maintenance in complex setups.

These features aid in distinguishing between cameras, ensuring firmware compatibility, customizing settings for easy management, and monitoring operational health, like sensor temperature. Additionally, they support network management through SNMP (simple network management protocol) community strings, crucial for integrating cameras into larger networked systems for remote control and diagnostics. You can use the features with Emergent's eCapture Pro application. Alternatively, you can use the features with Emergent's eSDK API and the feature nodes. The \EVT\eSDK\Examples\EVT_DeviceInformation directory contains example code that demonstrates how to programmatically use the device information features.
