PTP Status

The PTP status feature indicates the current status of the camera's synchronization with the precision time protocol (PTP) network, providing insight into whether the camera is correctly synchronized with the master clock.

  • Access mode: Read Only
  • Node type: Enumeration
  • Example values:
    • Disabled: PTPMode is disabled.
    • Listening: PTPMode is enabled in the camera but doesn't have a lock on any incoming PTP clock.
    • Calibrating: PTP clock has been found and rate calibration is being performed if needed.
    • Slave: PTP clock has been acquired and the camera now has a valid and reliable PTP clock.

You can use the eSDK API functions to get the node’s current value.
