Dual ADC Exposure Compression Knee Points

The Dual ADC Exposure Compression Knee Points feature defines two intensity levels where compression begins during the Dual ADC process. These levels allow for graduated adjustments to high-intensity pixel values, ensuring improved dynamic range and reduced signal saturation.

Note: The feature applies only when Dual ADC Exposure Compression is enabled and works in conjunction with the Dual ADC Exposure Compression Gains feature.

DualADC_CCMP1EXP and DualADC_CCMP2EXP nodes

  • Access mode: Read/Write
  • Node type: UInt32
  • Values: 0–15
    • DualADC_CCMP1EXP: Sets the intensity level at which the first compression adjustment begins, helping manage lower levels of high-intensity pixels.
    • DualADC_CCMP2EXP: Sets the intensity level at which the second compression adjustment begins, further managing higher levels of intensity for optimal image highlights.

You can use the eSDK API functions to:

  • get and set the node’s current value, and
  • get the node’s minimum and maximum values, and the node’s value increments.
