Iris Initialization

If the camera has an Emergent EF lens mount, the iris initialization feature initializes the iris mechanism.

Notes:

  • During the startup process, a camera automatically initializes any attached iris mechanism.
  • You might need to reinitalize the iris mechanism if it fails to respond correctly due to excessively large values, or if the lens undergoes power cycling, swapping, or other modifications after the last initialization.
  • If the camera has a Birger EF lens mount, the iris features work differently. For more information, contact Technical Support.
