Focus Initialization

If the camera has an Emergent EF lens mount, the focus initialization feature initializes the focus mechanism.

Notes:

  • During the startup process, a camera automatically initializes any attached focus mechanism.
  • You might need to reinitalize the focus mechanism if it fails to respond correctly due to excessively large values, or if the lens undergoes power cycling, swapping, or other modifications after the last initialization.
  • If the camera has a Birger EF lens mount, the focus features work differently. For more information, contact Technical Support.
