Device Max Throughput

In Emergent Vision cameras, Device Max Throughput reports the negotiated Ethernet bandwidth in bytes per second, revealing your link’s true payload capacity.

The value reflects the transport-layer speed and appears only on Eros HE Base-T (RJ-45) models that auto-negotiate 10 G, 5 G, 2.5 G, or 1 G.

Use it to:

  • Confirm the camera connected at the speed you expect
  • Plan host-side buffering, matching disk or RAM throughput to the camera’s peak rate
  • Diagnose throttling: If the value drops unexpectedly, check cabling or switch ports

DeviceMaxThroughput node
