Subsample

The subsample feature lets you maintain the same field of view but skip pixels for lower resolutions and data rates. Higher frame rates can be achieved in subsampled images on some camera models.

Note: This feature is different from binning in traditional CCD cameras because the subsample feature skips pixels instead of summing them.

SubSample node

  • Access mode: Read/Write
  • Node type: Enumeration
  • Example values:
    • 0: SUBS_1x1
    • 1: SUBS_2x2
    • 2: SUBS_4x4

You can use the eSDK API functions to:

  • get and set the node’s current value, and
  • get the node’s value options.
