UART Enable

The UART enable feature enables and disables UART mode. In UART mode, the camera receives UART data on GPI 5 and transmits UART data on GPO 3. These IO are reserved for UART functionality in this mode.

Many customers use the UART functionality to control devices such as an Emergent EF lens mount.

If you enable UART, you should also use the following UART features:

• ‍UART baud rate‍
• UART data bits‍
• UART stop bits‍
• UART transmit data‍
• UART transmit FIFO count‍
• UART receive data‍
• UART receive FIFO count

UartEnable node

• Access mode: Read/Write
• Node type: Boolean

You can use the eSDK API functions to get and set the node’s current value.
