GPO n Polarity

The GPO n polarity feature controls the voltage output of the camera’s general-purpose output (GPO) pins, where “n” indicates a specific pin number. This setting allows you to tailor the output signals to meet the needs of external devices or systems that the camera interfaces with.

Polarity settings determine the pin's output voltage in the following ways:

  • 1 or True: The GPO_n pin emits a high voltage when signaling an event (active) and a low voltage otherwise (inactive).
  • 0 or False: The GPO_n pin emits a low voltage when active and a high voltage when inactive.

See also GPO n mode.

GPO_n_Polarity node

  • Access mode: Read/Write
  • Node type: Boolean

You can use the eSDK API functions to get and set the node’s current value.
