Color Correction Matrix Index

The color correction matrix index feature selects the index of the color correction matrix (CCM) that is being configured. The CCM is essential for adjusting the color response of the camera to match specific lighting conditions or to compensate for sensor characteristics, improving color accuracy and consistency across images.

The color correction matrix

You must program the CCM sequentially, so use the following process:

  1. CCMIndex=0
  2. CCMValue=A11
  3. CCMIndex=1
  4. CCMValue=A12
  5. CCMIndex=2
  6. CCMValue=A13
  7. CCMIndex=3
  8. CCMValue=A21
  9. CCMIndex=4
  10. CCMValue=A22
  11. CCMIndex=5
  12. CCMValue=A23
  13. CCMIndex=6
  14. CCMValue=A31
  15. CCMIndex=7
  16. CCMValue=A32
  17. CCMIndex=8
  18. CCMValue=A33
Note: This feature is rarely used because the color temperature feature provides factory-calibrated CCM tables for different color temperatures. For more information, see the color temperature feature.

CCMIndex node

  • Access mode: Read/Write
  • Node type: Uint32

You can use the eSDK API functions to:

  • get and set the node’s current value, and
  • get the node’s minimum and maximum values, and the node’s value increments.
